Review the rules for lawful use of FreeToolsWeb, visitor content, tool results, availability, third-party services, warranties and responsibility.
Last updated: August 23, 2026. These Terms of Use govern access to the FreeToolsWeb website, its public catalog and the tools made available through it. By using the site, a visitor agrees to these terms and to the notices displayed by the specific tool being used. If a visitor does not agree, the site and tools should not be used.
The service
FreeToolsWeb provides an organized collection of online utilities. A tool may run in the browser, on the server or through a hybrid process, as stated on its page. The public service currently does not require a public account. The operator may add, review, publish, update, limit, suspend or remove tools in order to maintain security, quality, compatibility and lawful operation.
Eligibility and authority
A visitor must be legally capable of accepting these terms or use the service with the authorization of a parent, guardian or organization that is responsible for the use. Anyone acting for a business, school or other entity confirms that they have authority to submit its content and bind it to rules that apply to that use.
Permitted use

The service must not be used in a way that violates another person's rights, a contract, a professional duty or applicable law.
Prohibited conduct
Visitors must not use the site to process unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing or malicious material; distribute malware; obtain unauthorized access; probe or bypass security controls; overload the service; automate excessive requests; scrape protected areas; interfere with other visitors; impersonate another person; or use results to facilitate fraud or harm. Reverse engineering or testing performed without authorization must not expose data, disrupt availability or exceed rights granted by law.
Files, text and other visitor content
A visitor keeps any rights they already hold in content submitted to a tool. The visitor grants the operator only the limited permission needed to receive, process and return that content when the selected tool requires server processing. This permission ends when processing and any disclosed temporary retention end, except where a longer period is required for security, backup or legal compliance. The visitor confirms that they own the content or have all permissions needed to process it and that doing so does not violate confidentiality, privacy, copyright or other rights.
Tool-specific rules and limits
Each tool page may state supported formats, size limits, processing mode, permissions, retention expectations, usage instructions and known limitations. Those specific notices form part of these terms for that tool. If a tool-specific notice conflicts with a general description on another public page, the more specific notice controls for the operation of that tool, while these Terms continue to govern the rest of the service.
Results and important decisions
Automated output can be incomplete, inaccurate, corrupted, outdated or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Visitors must review results, preserve original copies and test downloaded files before deleting or replacing anything important. Results must not be treated as legal, medical, financial, tax, security, engineering or other professional advice. A qualified professional should be consulted when an error could affect rights, health, money, safety, compliance or a significant business decision.
Availability and changes
The operator aims to keep published tools useful and accessible, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not promised. Maintenance, hosting failures, browser changes, security incidents, provider restrictions or package updates may affect the service. Features, routes, limits and tool versions may change. When practical, the operator may roll back or remove a problematic tool, but no permanent availability or backward compatibility is guaranteed.
Third-party services and links
The site may include links, tool packages or integrations supplied by third parties. Advertising and analytics remain disabled until configured by the operator; once enabled, they load independently of the saved cookie acknowledgement. A third party may have its own terms, privacy policy and technical requirements, and FreeToolsWeb does not control an external website or provider merely because it is linked or configured. Visitors should review the terms of every enabled external service.
Intellectual property
The FreeToolsWeb name, interface, original site content, platform code and visual assets are protected to the extent provided by applicable law. These Terms allow use of the public service; they do not transfer ownership or grant permission to copy branding, resell the platform, remove notices or redistribute protected code except where a separate license expressly permits it. Tool packages and third-party materials remain subject to their respective ownership and license terms.
Privacy
Use of the service is also subject to the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and the processing notice of the selected tool. Visitors should not submit unnecessary sensitive information. If a visitor does not accept the disclosed processing mode, they should choose a local alternative or not use that tool.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the site and tools are provided on an “as available” basis without promises that every tool will be accurate, complete, secure, continuously available, fit for a particular purpose or compatible with every file, browser or device. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the service, including loss of data, revenue, opportunity or reputation. The visitor remains responsible for backups, input rights, chosen settings and verification of results. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including any responsibility that applicable law makes mandatory.
Enforcement and suspension
Access may be limited or blocked when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect visitors, comply with law, preserve infrastructure or enforce these Terms. The operator may retain information needed to document a security event or legal obligation, subject to the Privacy Policy. A restriction does not prevent the operator from pursuing other remedies that are legally available.
Changes to these terms
These Terms may be revised when the service, risks or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will be published on this page. Material changes should receive any additional notice required by applicable law. Continued use after a revision indicates acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by law; it does not waive mandatory rights.
Applicable law, severability and contact
Applicable law and the competent forum depend on the operator's location, the visitor's location and mandatory consumer or data-protection rules. These Terms do not override rights that cannot be waived. If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent possible.
