Last updated: August 23, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how the FreeToolsWeb platform may process information when a visitor browses the site, uses a tool or contacts the operator. It should be read together with the processing notice displayed on the page of the specific tool being used.
Scope and contact
This policy applies to the public FreeToolsWeb website and its administrative operation. The person or organization running the installed website is responsible for its live configuration and for identifying any additional disclosures required in the jurisdiction where it operates. Questions, privacy requests or complaints may be sent to support@desenvolvedor.org. Please do not include passwords, secret keys or unnecessary sensitive files in an email request.
Information visitors provide
Most public pages can be used without a public account. Depending on the selected tool, a visitor may choose to provide text, numbers, files, images, document content or other task-specific input. If a visitor contacts support, the operator may receive the email address, message and any information voluntarily included in that communication. Visitors should provide only information they are authorized to use and only the minimum needed to complete the task.
Local browser processing
When a tool is identified as local or browser-based, the tool processes its task input on the visitor's device and does not send that input to FreeToolsWeb through the tool. This can reduce server-side collection, but it does not make the device itself private: the browser, operating system, extensions, network or other software may operate independently. Visitors should use a trusted device and review the notice shown by the tool before providing content.
Server-side and hybrid processing
When a tool is identified as server-side, the required input is transmitted to the server so the requested operation can be completed. A hybrid tool combines browser and server processing. The tool page must disclose the relevant mode, permissions and handling expectations before use. Retention can differ by tool and deployment, so the specific tool notice controls where it provides more detailed information. Do not submit highly sensitive or regulated data unless the tool expressly supports that use and the live operator has confirmed appropriate safeguards.
Technical request data
The application and hosting infrastructure may process standard technical data needed to deliver and protect web requests, such as the requested URL, date and time, IP address, browser or device information, response status and security-related signals. The application is not designed to create hidden visitor tracking logs. Hosting providers and server software may maintain operational or security records under their own configurations and retention schedules.
Administrator information
The protected administration area stores the administrator username, contact email, password hash, configuration and operational records needed to manage the catalog. Administrator credentials are not public content. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes rather than readable text. People with administrative access are responsible for using strong unique credentials, restricting access and keeping recovery information current.
Cookies, local storage and similar technologies
Necessary session technology may be used to protect administrator sign-in and form security. The built-in cookie banner stores whether the visitor accepts all cookies or acknowledges the technologies classified by the operator as necessary for up to 180 days. Public tools may use browser storage when their declared functionality requires it. Configured analytics, advertising and trusted scripts load independently of the saved choice and their providers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers as described in the Cookie Policy and the provider's own documentation.
Purposes of processing
Information is processed only for relevant operational purposes: delivering the requested page or tool result, maintaining security, preventing abuse, responding to messages, managing the catalog, meeting legal obligations and—only when configured—measuring usage or displaying advertising. The legal basis for a particular activity depends on the live operator, the visitor's location, the type of data and applicable law. It may include performance of a requested service, legitimate operational interests, consent or compliance with a legal obligation.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be handled by infrastructure providers that support hosting, email delivery, security or other functions selected by the operator. If analytics or advertising is enabled, the configured provider may receive the technical information disclosed for that integration. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights, investigate abuse or secure the service. FreeToolsWeb is not designed to sell visitors' task input or personal information. The live operator must update this policy before adopting a materially different practice.
Retention and deletion
Local tool input is not retained by FreeToolsWeb because it is not sent to the platform through that tool. Server-side input, generated files and temporary data are kept only according to the specific tool's disclosed behavior and the live server configuration. Administrator settings remain while needed to operate the site. Support correspondence and hosting records may be kept only as long as reasonably needed for the relevant request, security, backup or legal obligation. Retention periods can vary, and the operator should document exact periods when the deployment or applicable law requires them.
Security
FreeToolsWeb uses measures intended to reduce unauthorized access, including protected administration, password hashing, request validation and security controls around package installation. No internet service or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Visitors should keep original copies of important files, close shared-browser sessions and avoid sending information that is not required for the task. Suspected security issues should be reported through the configured contact address without publicly exposing exploit details or personal data.
International data transfers
The location of processing depends on where the operator hosts the site and which optional providers are enabled. A hosting, email, analytics or advertising provider may process data in another country. When cross-border transfers occur, the live operator is responsible for identifying the transfer, providing required information and using any safeguards required by applicable law.
Privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, a person may have rights to receive information about processing; confirm whether personal data is processed; access, correct, update, anonymize, block or delete data; request portability where available; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; learn about sharing; request review of certain automated decisions; and complain to a data-protection authority. Rights are not absolute and may be limited by law, security needs or another person's rights. A request may be sent to support@desenvolvedor.org; reasonable identity verification may be required before account, support or administrative information is disclosed or changed.
Children
The service is intended for a general audience capable of understanding the tool instructions and these policies. It is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children below the age at which they can validly consent under applicable law. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information should contact the operator so the situation can be reviewed and appropriate action taken.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated when tools, providers, legal requirements or operating practices change. The revised text and update date will be published on this page. If a change materially affects how previously collected information is used, the operator should provide any additional notice or choice required by law. Continued use after publication means the visitor should review the current policy, but it does not replace consent where consent is legally required.
