Open a website, menu, form, product page or social profile.
Turn a link, message, Wi-Fi network or email into a scannable static QR code in seconds. Customize it, preview it and download it free.
Scan the result before printing or sharing.
Everything is generated locally in this browser. Your links, text, passwords and email details are never uploaded.
Choose the format that matches the action you want after scanning. This generator supports the four most common static QR uses without sending the content to a server.
Open a website, menu, form, product page or social profile.
Display a message, reference number, instruction or other plain text.
Let guests join a Wi-Fi network without typing the network name and password.
Open a new email with the recipient, subject and message already filled in.
This generator stores the destination directly in the QR pattern. It does not use a shortening or redirect service, so the image has no subscription and no artificial expiration date. A linked page can still stop working if its address changes or goes offline.
This tool creates a static QR code: the real URL or content is stored in the pattern and cannot be changed after download. A dynamic QR code stores a redirect managed by a provider; choose that only when you need to edit the destination or measure scans later.
Use PNG for websites, documents and quick sharing. Choose SVG for signs, packaging and professional printing because the vector remains sharp at any size. Always scan the final file on more than one device before publishing it.
Keep a clear contrast between the code and its background and preserve the quiet margin around all four sides. Medium correction is a good default; higher levels add redundancy but can produce a denser pattern.
Select URL, text, Wi-Fi or email and enter the information to encode.
Choose high-contrast colors, output size, margin and error correction.
Create the QR code, scan the preview, then download PNG or SVG.
Yes. You can create and download static QR codes without an account, watermark or download fee.
The generated code has no expiration because its content is stored directly in the pattern. A linked destination must remain available at the same address.
No. The QR matrix and downloads are created locally in this browser. Input content is not sent to FreeToolsWeb.
PNG is convenient for screens and documents. SVG is a scalable vector and is usually the better choice for printing.
Low contrast, a missing quiet zone, physical damage or printing too small can reduce readability. Test the final design with several cameras.
A static code stores the final content in the pattern and cannot be edited after printing. A dynamic code points to a managed redirect that can change and may provide scan analytics.
There is no universal minimum because scanning distance, content density and print quality vary. Start around 2 × 2 cm for close-range use, keep the quiet zone, and test the final print at its real size.
