María Reina: la majestad que proviene de Dios | Diario Católico

Cada 22 de agosto, en la octava de la solemnidad de la Asunción de María al cielo, la Iglesia Universal celebra a la madre de Dios como Reina. Esta fiesta se celebra desde 1954, cuando el papa Pío XII la instituyó en la encíclica Ad Caeli Reginam (A la Reina del Cielo). Inicialmente la fecha era el 31 de mayo.
